Car dealerships run ads every week, year after year under continued pressure to move product off their lots. It’s the nature of the business what with new models creeping onto their lots by mid summer and the rush to clear out the old via major price slashing to make way for next year’s crop arriving just after Labor Day. It doesn’t quite work out that way at times, however, but that’s the plan. In order to facilitate this course of action, promotions are put in place to generate huge dollars and save their customers quite a chunk of change. The pricier ones are featured, naturally, but the bargains are also in the mix, as a draw to entice clients to visit. It’s a great opportunity for salesmen to establish and nurture new relationships and customers to find great value. When ads are aired, the vehicles are the stars and the announcer is the co-star, making them gleam in every possible way, enticing hordes with spun magic in their voices and a confident, convincing come-on.
